a tide over pic

okay so i dunno when i'll get to make another cake so i though i'd post this pic to tide y'all over til i do. this cake may look familiar but not how it was originally posted. why, do you ask, is this?? well, as is usually the case with these cakes, no one wanted to actually cut the mushroom cause they thought it looked too nice, so instead they ate the cake around the bottom and left the mushroom. my father, not wanting the perfectly-sealed cake inside the mushroom to go bad, sneakily cut around one of the white spots and proceeded to eat the cake out of the mushroom through the hole, filling in the space he emptied with crumpled paper towels so my mom didn't find out. eventually, however, the fondant prooved to be too much for the paper towels, which didn't support quite as well as the cake, and the mushroom collapsed one night. this was the result. hope someone laughed at that.
